Bletchley Arts Centre

The Bletchley Arts Centre represents a significant cultural investment in the regeneration of Bletchley town centre. The building will house a 300-seat auditorium, flexible gallery spaces, artist studios, and educational workshops.

Urban Strategy

Positioned at the junction of two key pedestrian routes, the building is designed as a porous structure that invites the public in. At ground level, the foyer extends seamlessly into a new public square, creating an active frontage that animates the street throughout the day and into the evening.

Acoustic Design

The auditorium is conceived as a room within a room — a timber-lined vessel floating within the concrete shell. This approach provides exceptional acoustic performance while allowing the building's industrial aesthetic to remain visible in the circulation spaces and galleries.

Bletchley Arts Centre

A new cultural anchor for Bletchley, housing performance, exhibition, and education spaces.
